So Blogger keeps any photos you upload in your Picasa Web Albums. I didn't realize this and found it hard to get Blogger-hosted images to stop shrinking even when "Large" is selected during upload. Most of the time I would have to stretch the images using img width and height tags. Using Web Albums you can upload images directly and select the actual large size to embed in the blog.
